I've been running ProScan and logging all talk groups that come through on my two receivable AIRS sites.
So far, I'm not really seeing any consistency, or a rhyme or reason as to how the TGIDs are set up on AIRS.
Anybody have an insight into the setup and coordination of the AIRS rollout?
Prime example of what I'm talking about - Dale County primary dispatch is now 29200. Ozark PD is 201, Fire/EMS 101. There was a special event channel setup for a festival that was 65191.
One thing I've been wondering is if P25 Phase 2 has a TGID limit, such as 65535. In any case, I was surprised to see the system not using the Alabama county numbering system (like on the license plates).
