Has anyone had any luck listening to Al Vasu's LTR systems? At one time they were very busy. I put them in my 97 two nights ago and have not seen any action.

Vasu / Radio Link

It seems that most of these LTR (?) systems seem to be in multiple locations.

Seems like they have alot of them in Brunswick.

Why they even have some VHF LTR(?) sites.

Anybody ever have luck with Radio Link? I know that there is one frequency, I belive it to be 422.7750 that is LTR active but I know they have more ssites then just that one.

Radio Link / John Paul Jones is a very busy system. I listen to them often. There are a few companies like S&R Cab on his system that go non stop 24/7.

Freq Hunter,

Wow, I finally know the name of the Cab company that uses 422.7750. Thanks. I just don't understand why they (Radio Link) never use 422.6000 or 422.7000 ?

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=2053

How often does S & R Cab use both of their LTR Talk Groups?

It seems that when I look them up on http://www.fcc.gov they have lots of licenses that are Trunked. Are these ever used?

I think that the last time I looked they even had a licesne for a LTR (?) VHF TRS.

Are these other licesnes low powered? I think that if they mention Elyria, that I should be able to get them. I have also noticed some 6 meter Control Stations.

Another question. Do you know which Talk Group ID = Lorain and which Talk Group ID = Sandusky? Thanks for the info. I always thought that one ID = Channel 1 and the other ID = Channel 2. Live and learn, eh?
Wow Sandusky. Nice to know that I can hear something from all the way over there. :)

Still no joy with this system. Anyone able to listen to them? If I run the bank in CTCSS decode there is action, put it in LTR, nothing!

Can not get it to work on a 97, 396 or 92 yet all scan Radio Links systems just fine.
