yes its about maybe 2 miles from the met . the tower sits behind the target at grove blvd and preserve parkway .

Have had the marshall county ones plugged in to ws1040 since I found them in the all FCC license listing for the county. So far no activity and only a few miles from primary tower in Arab. Speculation is they are waiting for all to get their equipment in before switching to it instead of each going online separately

FYI, both of these sites are active. I picked up SO and VFD traffic on them last Monday while coming home from Birmingham. Sys ID is 46B and they are sites 33 and 34 (I can't remember which is which.)

I submitted the information to the database, but I'm not close enough to monitor the sites for additional control channels.
