FYI, both of these sites are active. I picked up SO and VFD traffic on them last Monday while coming home from Birmingham. Sys ID is 46B and they are sites 33 and 34 (I can't remember which is which.)

I submitted the information to the database, but I'm not close enough to monitor the sites for additional control channels.

was told by a trusted source its a two channel site . so and county fire . thanks warren

I am hearing police chatter on TGIDs 32155 and 32156 from the Alabama Jubilee event in Decatur. I don't recall these IDs ever being used before.

You're welcome Bryan!

I did see a Jemison PD SUV with an 800mhz antenna on it, so it would not surprise me if they are also on the system. I'm wondering if Clanton is also going to join in the future?

Besides VFD and SO traffic on 40003 and 40005, I did catch some activity on 40004, but I couldn't tell who it was.

AIRS Talk Groups

DEC ---- Alpha Tag ----- Description ------ Tag ---------------- Group
32040 - DFD Dispatch - Fire Dispatch - Fire Dispatch - Morgan County - Decatur
<>
32165 - DFD Dispatch - Fire Dispatch - Fire Dispatch - Morgan County - Decatur

These two Talk Groups above, TGs 32040 & 32165 are both shown as Decatur Fire Dispatch.
Can anyone confirm which Talk Group is the right one?
I believe both TGs were patched together at one point for some reason but not sure the current use.

They're using 32165 for Fire and 32173 for EMS/First Response. I haven't heard any traffic on the older TGs in a long while, so I'm assuming they're no longer used.

Talk Group 1425
This Talk Group was active recently.
Listed in RR as.
1425 - Jeff M/A CO Call - CO Call - Jefferson County Mutual Aid

Anyone know the exact use for this TG?
It doesn't sound like a Mutual Aid Calling TG.
Traffic heard was what sound like some Public Works guys talking about someone
picking up or pushing up some piles of something.

I ran into this on one of the JEFFCO M/A channels too. May have been the same talkgroup you are mentioning.

I suspect it was one of the county's public works or road department crews using this channel (talkgroup). Perhaps that department does not have its own channel so they default to this.
