Alamance County fire ground communications.

What do Alamance County Fire Depts. Use for fireground communications? I have all the OPS tgids for the county, but seems they are using something else. Any insight would be helpful.

Have Viper Fire OPS, but when they switch to fire ground operation, communications just disappear.

Could be using a mutual aid group on viper or one of their tactical channels or is that what you were referring to OPS

I am not sure, best bet is to contact one of the fire departments and see if they will tell you. They do have 5 lower band tac channels that are apparently 3 simplex and 2 through a repeater, they could be using those. I am just throwing that out there

Alamance County uses 700mhz direct for many on-scene ops. Several agencies share 769.00625, 769.01875, 769.03125, and 769.04375 with various NAC's.

The Direct channels @BigLebowski listed are authorized for use by all counties. NAC is supposed to change by county, but doesn't always happen. They are simplex channels so you need to be within a mile or so to hear them.

Alamance County Fire Uses Not Repeated Ops Channels for their fireground operations. So unless your within a half mile of the scene you won't hear anything.

Alamance Co. EMS dispatches can still be heard on 156.120. I heard one go out just now.
