It's a GMRS frequency. Supposed to be the input to 462.5750. Did you hear anything on the repeater frequency?

Who knows who is using GMRS frequencies illegally.. The only way to tell is by monitoring and eventually pinning down identifying factors. Good luck.

Hope this helps,

That user is an [unidentified] medical transportation service.

I'm currently listening to both channels (462.575 on pro96 and 467.575 DC 244 on the pro106)
Im hearing alot of transmissions on 462. but nothing on the 467.Even while talking on the 462 ill max squelch on the 467 and nothing ?

the first conversation I heard both ends of the conversations the rest I only hear what might be the base?

I have'nt been scanning lately and forgot it was GMRS thank you

Thank you Mr.Stark

The keep saying CP to base
just asked for a radio check heard both ends

Here's the notes that I have:

Best I can figure, the 462.575 repeater is located on Crawford Hill in Schenectady and it has 2 customers on it.

CTCSS 123.0 - van or taxi service in Schenectady, units use numbers in the 800 range (801, 802, etc.)

DCS 244 - CP Base and mobiles, medical transportation service - all over the capital district

They have both been on for quite a bit and make 462.575 unusable during the day.

Back in the day, it was quite common for two-way shops to have GMRS repeaters for their 'small' customers; people with a base and maybe one or two mobiles. Of course those users were supposed to be vacated off GMRS many years ago but it still goes on today.

The next time I get a day off on a regular business day I just might go over to Schenectady and try to get an idea on who and where these stations are (just for fun, of course).

866.5875 is the control channel for the Saratoga County Office of Emergency Services P25 TRS. It currently is on the air at one site only - Providence. Once the bid is awarded it will be a countywide simulcast system.
