While searching around the UHF band today I stumbled across this:

462.8875 MHz. repeater / CTCSS 100.0 Hz.

This repeater was carrying traffic from the Albany County Fire Control repeater on 154.415 MHz. CTCSS 110.9 Hz. The signal from my location in uptown Albany was weak but readable. I tried a FCC license search and came up with SABIC Innovative Plastics US LLC in Selkirk (formerly known as GE Plastics). I was wondering if they use this channel as a cross-band repeater for their emergency services? Can anyone down in the Selkirk area check to see if you can hear this station as well?

I will monitor this and let you know what I hear.

I do know that SABIC's fire brigade is dispatched by an internal PA system and alpha pagers (that each member carries). They call Bethlehem by phone when they need help and notify them over 155.97 when they transport a pt to the hospital via ambulance (R-56).
