Albany ga data base question

I just received my HP-1. My first digital scanner. So excuse my ignorance , I have a data base question. There are 2 listed for Albany GA 31705, Albany / Dougherty County (6D31) & Dougherty County/Thomas County, switch one is the correct one? I'm getting nothing on the Albany / Dougherty County (6D31). On the Dougherty County/Thomas County I'm getting a few hits but nothing from APD or Dougherty co PD or EMS yet, im picking up Albany State university police dept, and Thomasville police, which is 40 miles away. need help.

The active trunked system is the Dougherty-Thomas County System. They are linked together (see the associated posts about Crisp/Dougherty/Thomas County in the Georgia forum).

I don't have a HomePatrol scanner, so I cannot help you with how to tweak the programming in that scanner.

The frequencies in the database are valid, as are the talkgroups for both counties.
