Albany/Schenectady County System New TG 1066

Hello. Just noticed that this new TG was added on 9/6/22. It’s called PSAP Interop TG 1066.

Two questions.
1. Does Anyone know what this is? Not familiar with “PSAP?”

2. it says “systemwide?” So like a few other TG’s does this mean that it comes through on all the various “cells?” Metro. County. Cohoes. Even Schenectady.

Of course I’ll plug it in and listen. Just wondering what it is?

I havent monitored it yet but its probably an "intercom channel" between the answering points

i doubt it highly also i have left my radio on that tgid to monitor for any traffic and i havent heard any and my sdr is down for the count.

Maybe, maybe not replace CDERN but maybe another option in addition to CAD/Phone for interop between PSAPs/agencies within in the 695 system. CDERN is much wider and looks like 4 counties with multiple agencies. Seems they'd all require some kind of console connection or otherwise if they all wanted to work off this one albany core talkgroup. The current system seems relying on a single repeater. @jgorman21 Nothing on City or County. Hardly surprising--there are plenty of seldom-used TGs on the system that are are hardly used/not in use, and this one falls into that category by its very nature. I wouldn't put it on avoid, but I wouldn't expect much either.
