As of today, Albany police are now using Type II talkgroups. The ones that I have found so far are posted on my website at NF2G.com.

All communications are still analog.

Only if somebody has stolen them from my website. Several RR.com entries have been made that way.

Whenever the Albany info winds up on rr.com, I'd like to think its possible that someone else in Albany has info on the system too!!!

Besides, except for straight copying of info without verification, I don't see it as much different from when info from these forums winds up on nf2g.

The info on NF2G.com is sent directly to me via email or a feedback form on my website, or I do the research and discover it for myself. When info shows up elsewhere that uses my exact formatting and labeling for certain types of data, then I know where it came from - especially when it shows up within a few hours AFTER it has been put online at my website.

I don't want to get into a spat here. I am not in direct competition with Lindsey. His website does a lot more than mine. I only wish people (the ones who contribute info to RR, not the sysop) would give credit where it's due when something comes from a particular source where someone actually did some work to obtain it in the first place.

If any of my students were to plagiarize like that, then they would fail my courses.
