I was looking through the Albemarle County website under the purchasing section a couple of weeks ago, and saw that bids were out to design and install a UHF paging system for the fire/rescue department.
The proposal has been removed from the site (I assume that the bid period is over), but this is something that we can keep an eye on in the future.
