I've been attempting to log Alectra RID's on their new system. I've noticed many trucks refer TG 203 (Simcoe) as "West Control" and referring to an address in Alliston. I've also heard trucks refer to the TG 204 (Brampton) as "North Control" and referring to an address in Innisfil. I am wondering if their radios are setup the same way as the old York/Simcoe DMR system?

That would be a safe bet. Many services when they transition for one system to another want to keep the radio operation and call signs the same to avoid push back from the users.

Are you sure you heard an address in Innisfil? Alectra doesn't service Innisfil, InnPower does.

A few weeks ago we had a scheduled power outage in my building. An Alectra truck was parked outside so I spoke to the guys.

They acknowledged the "new" radio system but the guy himself said they only use it up north and maybe in St.Kitts. They only use phones here.

I've run frequency, close call, spoke to the guy and a few others over the years. Elevators were running on generator and I wasn't going all the way up the stairs again.

But it seems as if Alectra isn't active at least in the Hammer
