Alert Light Suggestion ~ BCD536HP

Just a suggestion for future firmware upgrades.

The option to have the alert light flash or stay on for the whole TX on the assigned TG/Freqs.

I've noticed that it times itself out, normally before the end the TX on the assigned TG/Freq.

Other than that, this is a very nice unit but this is only my first day with it.

Looking forward to waking up tomorrow (day off) and spending some quality one-on-one time with it!

I will second your suggestion on the Alert Light. Not sure why they made it that way.

While we are making suggestions, multiple/alternate colors blinking would be nice too. On my GRE's I like to make the special event channels blink with alternating colors to tell them apart with normal dispatch.

Ditto -- I suspect it's just the same firmware for both the 536 and 436 and could be a battery saving move.

There are many things I'd like to see changed... someday I'll post them but I figure there's no huge rush since they won't get implemented anyway.
