Yep even all the relay stations that use the Issoudun transmitter
network booms into eastern Canada. Could be a beamed
service but I am not sure. How does Radio Spain 🇪🇦 come
in New Zealand ? It is the most powerful signal I get on the
shortwave band even more stronger than Radio Marti and
WRMI USA.

Radio Espana Internationale absolutely booms in here on the "Grey Line" in the late afternoon and it helps that the transmitter is just to the west of Madrid. It also helps that he is my "antipode" so every direction that he transmits from passes through my location. A few years ago they cut back on their programming but there such was a huge uproar from all the Spanish fishing boats down in the south Atlantic who could no longer get the news from home - so huge in fact that REI reinstated some of their broadcasts and the fishermen were happy again. They play some great traditional music too.
