Hi,

Not sure it is an issue with the scanner or a setting but when I listen to any FM freq's 165.xxxx the transmission sounds really quiet and I can hear like a howling wind type noise!! A friend has the same scanner and his does exactly the same thing!! it is very noticable on all freq's. My DJ-X3 and Yupiteru 3300 are both fine!! (same freq's) any idea's guys?

Cheers

I had one and it did the same. I found using the audio filters helped.

One of the settings (don't remember which at the moment) let's you adjust the audio. Using "High" seemed to help with VHF airband. Sorry I can't be more explicit but I haven't had a X30 for a while.
