Alinco DJX10 discriminator

I have a old alinco DJX10 (my first scanner!) and I have read that it has a discriminator output 'built in'. I am not entirely sure what it means but as someone who likes to decode things this would be a handy feature to have. I am guessing the output for this (if there is one) would be one of the top outputs on the radio?

Ah, I found it in the clone/programming socket next door...

Sorry Pete, wasn't looking carefully enough before I posted. I've not taken the lead out for about ten years but it is indeed the 'clone' socket.
