I have an older Alinco DR-599 which has a UHF issue I'd like to get sorted out.
Occasionally the UHF side of the radio will flash 'On Air', as you all know that's normally displayed when the radio is keyed. It's begun to do this more frequently and seems to do it less frequently when it's warm.
Once the 'On Air' quits flashing the UHF side works flawlessly, VHF side works fine all the time. I've done tons of googling, asked the techs at work and gone through the service manual cover to cover. Can't find this anywhere...
