All channel's locked out

I have a RadioShack Pro-404 scanner. It was scanning fine about 5 mins ago but now I can only do manually.. when I try to auto scan I get All channels locked out. Yet none of the channels I have set are locked at all. I tried using the L/O RVW button to try to unlock it but it did not work. Any suggestions?

From another Radio Reference forum:

It might be a good idea to reinitialize the scanner to factory settings. Power on the scanner and when the screen displays WELCOME SCAnnInG rECIEVEr press the 0 key then the 1 key while it's still showing the welcome message. InItIAL appears for about 2 seconds and then yes=enter and no=clear. Press the enter key for yes or the clear key for no. If you initialize the scanner it will delete any saved frequencies you've entered. This is on page 33/34 of the manual.
