BC75XLT: All Lock Out

I keep getting a SCAN "all lock out" on my unit. I have tried taking the batteries out, the clear procedures on page 53 of the manual but still can't scan with the the unit. Is there a way to reset the unit to factory specs or clear this problem.

You will get the "all locked out" message if you have no data stored in the Scan Bank. You need to either programmed some specific data into a scan bank channel or do "Search" or "Services" scan and when the scanner stops on a signal then store that signal away to a Scan Bank Channel.

Doing a factory reset will not help as this will clear the scan bank channels and you will be back where you started.
