All I can do is give you some insight John, I have no news about them changing their frequency or communication.
I just read their latest Google reviews, I always go to newest as old reviews to me, are meaningles. Common theme of the newest reviews is awful.
The poor elderly gentleman on Thanksgiving got a pretty bad deal huh.
As you know I'm pretty familiar with the history of this cab company which used to be A&G in the Bristol area and Academy Cab in the Northeast. You know they combined etc etc.
I used to use them a long time ago and they sucked then, right now in the Lower Bucks area if you use the Uber app will get a acknowledgment from the driver instantly and you can communicate with them as far as where you'll be standing etc etc. Don't get on the app until you are ready to get into the car as they usually show up within 3 to 5 minutes. LOL
They screw up too and all you have to do is write them a text and say that you're disputing the charges on your credit card and go pound sand and they will drop the charges immediately whether you're right or wrong.
There is no way an antiquated, more expensive cab company with the same rude incompetent people working for them forever and ever can compete with Uber.
My most recent experience was to talk to an elderly neighbor, who waited an hour and a half for all three's and then got stranded as they were not available for his ride home. Poor guy does not have a smartphone, just a flip phone.
I did see one of their cabs sitting in the parking lot of the Acme at Five Points in Levittown about a month ago, other than that I never see them on the road anymore.
All people have to do is read the newest reviews and then if you still use them, shame on you.😄
