All Uniden Rebanding Updates Released (Including BR330T)

In case you've missed the other announcements, we have complete our rollout of Rebanding firmware for all supported models. All updates, including what other features were added, how to install, and the updates themselves can be found on the following pages:

Thank you for your patience while these were prepared and tested. Juggling the release of 9 updates while also preparing for the release of the new models has kept us all busy around here the last few months...and we've got plenty of other stuff coming to keep us busy going forward, too. So, back to work!

On the 330 update it says registration key needed when making Major Version Change. Where do I get that?

Also I went to myuniden and the last update there that shows up is from 2007. I did get the files I need from BR330TFirmwareUpdate < UnidenMan4 < TWiki

I cannot find anywhere in the instructions where it says a registration key is needed (it isn't).

The My Uniden site has not yet been updated with the new links (which will point you back to the link in my original post).

Ok, I see it now...you get the prompt when you do the update itself. This prompt should not be there...I've update the instructions to clarify it (and get engineering working on a revision w/o the prompt).

With not batts, just ac power, hit L/O and 6 and scanner went to full on with the light and text.

Removed ac and put batts in hit L/O and 6 got only the light with no text

It has updated but would not without batts and using ac power

While holding down L/O and 6 you should plug in the AC (i.e. hold down first). All my samples go to light w/no text as they should.

It is not possible to update the firmware in any other model.

I noticed there is not a "What is changed in this update" on the 296D page. Can one be added to list what has been changed?

I am hoping it is more than just the rebanding, but I was not sure since it was not specific.

Is there another, firmware update for the bct15 or, is this just stating that all, the uniden models have been updated now I'm confused! Thanks!
