Can anyone in here compile a list of all Uniden scanners? Mobile only, and in the style of BCT8 and BCT15, etc. Not the ones that look like weather alert radios. I guess they would be DIN style?

I have model numbers for 10 of them, but would like to know what all is out there. I have never sought Uniden scanners to know what all they have/had.

Thanks,

BC350A
BC350C
BC785D
BC796D

BC760XLT
BC780XLT
BC860XLT
BC890XLT
BC895XLT

My hunt continues. if you have other model numbers, please chime in. I am sure by looking at the model numbers of the ones I have listed you will be able to determine if it qualifies to be added.

Don't forget 560XLT. There was also a 580XLT and a 950XLT that were specially made for Scannerworld. Same as the 760 only the 580XLT had no 800.

Having owned most of these, these are my comparisons to what I belive you're wanting to know based on a DIN requirement.

BCT7 <-- much smaller than din
BCT8 <-- Din sized
BCT15 <-- Din sized
BC350A <-- much smaller than din
BC350C <-- much smaller than din
BC785D <-- a little bit taller than standard din
BC796D <-- a little bit taller than standard din
BC898T <-- Base scanner (no way it's going in a dash)
BCD996T <--Din Sized
BC760XLT <-- a little bit shorter than standard din
BC780XLT <-- a little bit taller than standard din
BC860XLT <-- Base scanner (no way it's going in a dash)
BC890XLT <-- Base scanner (no way it's going in a dash)
BC895XLT <-- Base scanner (no way it's going in a dash)
BC9000XLT <-- Base scanner (no way it's going in a dash)

for pictures and specs on these radios

I should have been more specific on the description. Althought I said "DIN" style, I really only meant that it was a square styled box radio with the knobs and crap in the front. Basically, it is not a handheld, and it is not one of those flat ones with the buttons and junk on the top side facing up.

So now, I have added the 560XLT, 580XLT, 950XLT, and the BC400?

Thanks,

You may also can consider the MR8100. The knobs and buttons are all on the front... depending on how you orient it. It was originally designed as a mobile scanner.

Yeah, just looked at one on eBay and realized it did not fit my requirements. I have been doing some more looking and I don't think I want to go any further back than say a BC400. I found an original BC300, and I am considering using that as a starting point. So I will edit my list in a while to reflect what I want.

You guys are great help! Thank you.

What about the BCD396T? I thought it was by far their hottest seller right now (except maybe for the brand new BCD996T).

That's a handheld model.

There is also the 700a, which seems to have come back as the 350C (with 800 that the 350A did not have)

Add BC8500XLT
Add BC560XLT

Take the "U" off UBC9000XLT

The Ubc9000XLT is the european version of the American BC9000XLT.
