Unknown major incident occurring in the 1300 block of Greene St, Fort Wayne, IN. Dispatcher approximates 20 squad cars now on scene for the Signal 154 (Officer Needs Assistance - reserved for critical calls for assistance or injury) call. Medical also in route. Traffic on FWPD SE DISP. FWPD providing emergency escort for the EMS unit to unknown destination from the scene.

FWPD emergency escort instituting roadblocks from scene toward an unidentified hospital.

Escort traffic has moved to FWPD NE DISP.

EMS transporting the shooting suspect now en route as well.

ACPD has blocked the intersection of I-69 and Dupont Road for the EMS route.

Incident follow-up (crime scene handling) moving to ACPD TAC 5.

Subsequent radio traffic indicates the officer may have been shot in the lower right leg and is in stable condition. Additional traffic further indicates that the officer who was shot is, in fact, a deputy marshal.
