Allendale Fire

Am I missing something or is Allendale NOT on 158.7975 D315, as listed? I plugged that in shortly after the update and haven't gotten SQUAT since. (Similar to Wallington's 'set up'... but that's a whole different story..."

They tone out EMS and FD, and the FD calls in on 158.7975 D315. The FD also use 153.8300 Norcon Ops 2 for fireground.

Not that I can tell. I do know they only operate in Simplex as DPW is on the other VHF freq that they are licensed to.

That's so strange... ok, thanks. I used to get them NO problem on their old 158.94. Simplex aside, I don't see any reason I'm not getting them a mere 6 miles as the crow flies.............

I would try between 6 pm and 7:30 pm, they do their nightly tests somewhere in that time frame. I forget the exact time of their tests.

I can barely hear them on the Glen Rock/Ridgewood border. After tone out, they call in on 154.175, CTCSS 123.0. 900 series units; Chiefs are 930 and 940. EMS and FD tone out on the same frequency.

Allendale FD no longer uses 154.1750 for calling in service, unless something changed. I always hear them call in on 158.7975 D315.

Hi,

Could you clarify the PL for 158.9400? I haven't come across any towns using that PL so far with that tone, or simulcast. Also the SPEN 1 link, do you know if that is unique to Allendale's desk or is that something that surrounding towns have access to.

Yes, they have been using it for Responses for a few months now. They still us NORCON Ops 2 153.8300 for fireground analog.

They changed to their own repeater, it operates mixed mode analog for paging and digital for operations....
