Alliant Edgewater

:x Whoever posted the information about Alliant Energy ops at Edgewater in Sheboygan, they operate a 1 channel LTR system on the 900 MHz frequencies as well as conventional repeaters. Not all frequencies are used and one of them is not used conventionally with a 100.0 PL. There are 4 talkgroups used that I noticed. 935.900 is LTR trunked.

I would like to know if this is a standard LTR system?
I ask because I can hear chit-chat on 935.9000, but I don't hear data bursts.
936.0000 and 939.9000 are also active with a PL of 100.0

Yes, it tracks as a standard LTR. LCN is 1. No other frequencies appear to be trunked. Not to say that they aren't since rarely would there be two users talking at once to require the 2nd frequency. I've seen 4 or 5 different ID's and without working there, I don't see any way to determine what they are for other than general operations. I do also hear the train on there sometimes.

I don't hear data bursts every 10 seconds, but there is something that sounds like a data burst every three or four minutes. I live about one mile northwest of the power plant near 14th & Ashland and can clearly hear Blue Harbor and Aldrich Chemical so I believe my radios and antenna are working properly.
I'll put 935.9000 into LCN 1 and see what happen's.

You're right, 935.9000 is trunked. The ARC250 has logged three ID's.

937.0000 100.0 PL is also active at Edgewater.
I haven't heard anything on 938.9000 yet.
