I'm looking for any info that someone might be able to provide about an alphanumeric paging outage for San Diego City (or maybe county) fire dispatching. Specifically, what the cause and timeline of the outage was, and how adversely dispatching was affected? Was this system the primary means of dispatch for the department(s) served?

SBD County Paging Outage
Does anyone know anything about the alphanumeric paging system being down in San Bernardino County, California? It went down on Friday and has yet to come back up. Didn't know if they moved to a new frequency or service unannounced. I no long get the fire dept dispatches, hoping they get it fixed today or this week and didn't change technology....?

Which method/program do you use to view the pages? I used to use message tracker but that program and
software no longer work. Is there an inexpensive and easy way to decipher the messages online via a
scanner and a computer program?

If you are trying to intercept alphanumeric paging data, be aware that it is illegal as defined by the FCC, and the moderators here don't support or get into discussions of doing this.
