altacast unable to connect to socket the parameter is incorrect

Hello Everyone,

I have correctly configured my atlacast standalone 1.1 to connect to shoutcast, using the correct lame3 encoder and have the correct settings. I'm using it with Radiodj.

But now when I go to stream, this is what I am getting:

altacast unable to connect to socket - the parameter is incorrect


Any clues would be appreciated.

Bitrate: 128, samplerate: 44100, channels 2, encoder type MP3 Lame, server type Shoutcast, correct server IP, server port 8000 , correct password, mountpoint empty (using shoutcast), and reconnect at 1 second.
But now when I go to stream, this is what I am getting:

altacast unable to connect to socket

pretty lame error message, pun not intended


Any clues would be appreciated.
