Hello guys,
Anyone here know of a way I can either simply make (or buy) some kind of adapter, if one exists, so I can use standard rechargeable AA batteries instead of the battery pack with the BC296D? This is a severe limitation I'm seeing with the radio...as I use it quite a bit and really don't like having "down-time", where the scanner needs to sit plugged into the wall to recharge...I actually have to carry a backup scanner with me now, so I have something to use in case the BC296D battery dies...
OR...if anyone knows where I can get some kind of battery charger to charge those battery packs, that would work. I do have 3 battery packs...so then I could rotate them just as I did with my old AA rechargeables from the old scanners...
Any info. would be appreciated!
