Regarding my Pro 197. I have Primary Control Channels programmed, and it seems to be working fine. Should I program Alternate Control Channels in as well? Just not sure if I'm missing anything by not having ACC programmed with PCC. Thanks.

I scan Douglas, Arapahoe, Jefferson, and Adams Counties.

Might want to check the archives, this has been discussed in threads a few times. I personally do not clog up my limited memory with alternate CC's because they don't switch to them very often but others feelings are they like to have them programmed in in the case when the alternate is being used, which I have found to be like once every six months or so at the most.

The other thing is I monitor the CC's with logging software such as pro96com so often have heads up if the primary CC is down or has changed and additionally the same for the neighboring sites.
