Aluminum Siding and Antennas

I am going to purchase a spider antenna. I was going to place it in the attic which is about 37 feet off the ground. The roof itself is not made of metal but the attic is covered with Aluminum Siding. Will this interfere with singal stregnth?

I would imagine an attic surrounded by aluminum siding would have a serious effect on the performance of an antenna within it. Bad idea IMHO :!:
