Amador County California misc items
1. Does anyone know if a database download into a scanner will cause the Cal Fire channels to be scanned? Cal Fire does show on the Amador County page right below the Fire/EMS heading - Amador County, California (CA) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference - but I am not sure if it is part of a database download.
2. FCC info shows that
- Sutter Valley Hosp might use 453.075 for paging
- Sutter Creek has 45.44 licensed
- Jackson has UHF links and HTs
- Jackson Rancheria has 453.95 and 460.10
- Amador Fire apparently changed their Command channel from 153.935R to 154.7625R - 153.935R is still licensed but apparently unused
- Amador County 45.48 might be transit ops
- Amador County 151.49R might be OES
- Amador County 155.04 BM might be OES also
- Amador County has UHF splinter channels licensed
- Amador County has 453.5375 for BM
- Ione has 155.8275R licensed
3. Zerg90 map of fire stations in Amador County seems to have all of the fire stations - Amador County California fire stations - Google My Maps - except that Sutter Creek FD might have 3 stations instead of just 1.
4. Does anyone know why the Calif Pro Firefighters list of FDs shows a Deputy Chief at Jackson Rancheria with his own FDID number? The Amador Fire website says they have a contract with the tribe to cover the casino. Perhaps the Tribe used to run their own FD and just recently turned it over to Amador Fire. Or maybe administratively Jackson Rancheria is still considered to be a separate fire department (F.D.).
5. Amador County fire feed yesterday via Broadcastify had an EMS call and a "MVA hurt" call that got a response of a CalFire engine and a local FD engine. Apparently most engines in the area are staffed with 2 people during the winter - so they send at least 2 engines to any call other than the most minor calls.
