Depends on the day mostly Texas
Amarillo Fire has gone quiet the last couple of days. I’ve tried on both of my scanners. Still receiving Potter and surrounding counties. No updates on their frequencies on the Potter County list and the live feed seems to be offline so can’t cross check. Anyone picking them up or heard of any changes to frequencies or system?

Interesting. There doesn't seem to be any licenses issued that could account for a change in frequency lineup. Is there a chance with the eventual narrow banding that has to be complete they changed the tone they are using, maybe to DCS. Try using the same frequencies without a tone and see if the activity is still there, then see if you can detect a new tone.

It possible that there is some changes because of PANCOM-it is a big system in area,it covers ALL the counties in the panhandle.. Might program the freqs listed for PANCOM in Potter/Randell Counties.Im not sure how this systems works in relation to all the counties in the panhandle.Im interested in charting it out just havent been up there lately.
Repeater Freq( mobile not listed) for Amarillo are:
155.3175
154.055
154.8
154.1825
156.195
154.3625
154.205
161.85
161.875

UHF freqs used in Amarillo( and other areas )These may be medical/ambulances.
453.025
453.075
453.175
460.525
460.55
451.525
452.275
452.45
453.25
453.875
460.625

A "COMMON" frequency is 155.7525. It is licensed by every dept/agency that uses PANCOM.
If you do find out something please post it.

I've heard that the EMS provider may have switched to the PANCOM frequencies, and possibly to a digital mode, but nothing more specific than that. I'm nowhere near the area to confirm or rule that out.
