THE CENTRAL VERMONT AMATEUR RADIO CLUB will join radio operators from all over North America in the American Radio Relay League Field Day on June 25 and June 26. The event is being held at the Tower in Hubbard Park, Montpelier from 2 p.m. Saturday to 2 p.m. Sunday. Similar Field Days are being held nation-wide to train ham radio operators to communicate when disaster renders conventional communications inoperable. It is also a chance to see Ham radio in action. Amateur ("ham") radio enthusiasts, those who are curious about ham radio, and members of the public are invited to join us as we raise antennas, set up equipment, and make radio contacts throughout the U.S. and elsewhere. Please come pay us a visit in Hubbard Park. Follow the signs to the Tower.
