The museum is 60 miles from me, so I pick it up all the time. A friend of mine is the custodian. (I was just there in August at a hamfest).

They have several beacons and I can pick them all up direct.. Beacons – Manitoba Amateur Radio Museum Inc.

But it is interesting tuning in the 10m beacons between 28200 and 28300. Up here in Canada, I sometimes hear 5 Watt beacons from Texas, Florida and Georgia booming in at 10 to 20 dB over S9 I once logged an 8 Watt beacon from New Zealand.

Here is a fairly accurate list of active 10m beacons to listen for: 10 METER BEACON LIST

Can't thank you enough, this is the first time I decoded a beacon, I will try the others in the list you provided and see what I can pick up.

Digging into the musty unused parts of my brain here, so pardon me if I get some details wrong.

A few years ago there was a 10 meter beacon that was a take on the old aviation 4 course radio range theme. Part of its transmission was a 4 course signal, along with regular beacon like activity.

Unfortunately, that is all I remember about that beacon. Maybe it was in the US south east, but not sure about that.

Anyone have any information about that beacon? Is it still around? Who ran it? What was the callsign?

T!
