We have a new Amazon facility starting up on 77 Belfield Road in Toronto. I know that there are Fulfillment Centres in Peel Region and Scarborough, yet we have no listings reported. Looking in TAFL returns no hits.

I'm always searching the 450-470 MHz range and I'm thinking they would likely use DMR.

I believe the Whitby facility is running now too, looks like something I shipped came through there today. Maybe I'll swing by later and see if anything pops up.

Many of the Amazon facilities in the US use a 16 channel DMR radio system on 8 frequencies, that begin with 6100/SL1 on the lowest frequency and go all the way up to 7600/SL2 at the upper end. All conventional. The frequencies vary by site, but if you start to see 6000's or 7000's TGs, and odd TGs on Slot 1, Evens on Slot 2, you likely found it.

Look in the 464 area. Thts where I saw some old hardware a year or so ago. I can verify they were using 8 freqs. Amazon is a large user I think all their USA facilities may use the same freq set. This would make moving hardware around easier. If you can find a USA list check the same channels for activity. NOTE: check the freqs as conventional they may have oddball data communications on them for the "robots'.

They do not. All sites have different frequencies/sets. I haven't been able to differentiate why some use analog vs DMR, I think it's a size of the warehouse thing, but may be age too. The only commonality has been in the larger ones to use those 8 frequency DMR configuration I mentioned above.

Just did a TAFL geographic search around YYZ1 in Streetsville, YYZ2 in Milton and YYZ4 on Heritage Road in Brampton, 420-470 then 925-940 MHz and nothing shows up that isn't identifiable by different address and/or company names within 3km of any of them.

I just searched licensee name " Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services Inc. " which is shown in the B. C. license data - nothing for Ontario, or even just "Amazon" for that matter.
