Amazon Lightning deal on Sat 12-17

I got an early warning of an upcoming lightning deal on the 536 if anyone is interested. Starts Saturday at 10:09 am it says, but times may be off as I am MST and not sure they are. I use keepa.com for alerts. Don't want to see anyone interested miss out. No price info.

I recently took advantage of an Amazon Lightning Deal on the 436 for $311.46.

Uniden 436 List = $599.99
Purchase = $311.46
311.46/599.99 = .5191

Uniden 536 List = $699.99
699.99*.5191 = $363.36

If I did the above correctly, $363.36 for a 536 would be the "same" good deal as the $311.46 for a 436 a few weeks back.

There may be other ways to analyze these values.

I bought my 436 at regular price on Amazon back in May at $464. I have never seen anything over $500.

I just grabbed a BCD536HP at $395.98 plus tax, free shipping.

I procrastinated long enough on this purchase. Hopefully it is from a good batch. I will probably buy the DMR upgrade down the line.

Once again I will be able to hear why the police helicopters are orbiting over my neighborhood every few days. I used to have a Motorola Spectra doing this work (I have the skillz!) but P25 Phase 2 has put that solution out of reach.

Any tips or advice for a new owner?

I don't need another 536HP, but I found a deal on the Panasonic BQ-CC17SBA 4 battery charger. You can charge individual batteries with it, which is a feature I want. The White one is available for $14.54. I opted for the tacticool black one, which is not on sale.
