WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old West Valley City girl Saturday.
Police say Natalia Velazquez was taken by force from her home at 9:18 a.m. by her non-custodial father, 24-year-old Gabriel Velazquez. Police say he was driving a 2001 Ford Focus with the Utah license plate number B243DW. Police say the suspect's brother, Eduardo Velazquez Camacho was also in the vehicle.
Police say they may be taking the child to Mexico. The suspect uses the alias names of Cesar Vasquez-Barron, Luis Fernandez and Christian Dejesus. He has a history of domestic violence and child abuse.
Natalia Velazquez has a large scar on her chest that shows through her shirt. She was last seen wearing a navy blue tank top with a picture of Curious George on a surfboard and navy blue shorts.
