My scanner (HP-1) shows on 148.22500 MHz (Moore's Ambulance) two different CTCSS tones.
(1) 146.2 CTCSS which is normal analog voice.
(2) 156.7 CTCSS which uses voice inversion.
Also I hear the same voice inversion and 156.7 CTCSS on the same frequency but the scanner also shows it as "Down East Communications" sometimes and not "Moore's Ambulance"
I'm not sure if "Moore's Ambulance" switches between voice inversion and not using it or 2 stations share the same frequency with "Down East Communications" using voice inversion. The clear analog voice is always Moore's Ambulance and I'm not sure who the voice inversion is because I can't hear what their saying.
The"Moore's Ambulance" is listed from Clarke's Beach and can be heard clearly in St. John's.
