American 36 declaring emergency on 5598

American 36 declaring an emergency over the Atlantic due to severe weather. Deviating from track, declared Mayday Mayday Mayday Pan Pan Pan. This is N389AA, a B-767 enroute to Madrid Spain from Dallas TX. Talking with Santa Maria Radio now, just got an 80 mile deviation approved.

0515Z: American 36 advises aircraft is out of danger, they have deviated 80 miles north of the track.

FlightRadar24 advises this is N389AA, I'm not absolutely sure of that. Selcal doesn't match up (JLEM).

I wish FlightRadar24 could tell us where the Malaysian Airlines flight 370 disappeared to ?
It's unfortunate that the pilots could not first have gotten a distress or Mayday radio call out ?
I heard nothing about a 7500 (HiJacking), 7600 (RadioFailure) or 7700 (Inflight emergency codes RX'd.
Anybody know the FL370 Boeing 777's tail number ? What an "unprecedented mystery."
Or they know and have the black boxes are just formulating what the official narrative will be
that will be released to the media when they fine tune the "official story" (ie mechanical failure)?

btw~ Not to HiJack this thread, but what would the explanation be of 2 planes having the same tail #'s
1) N334AA DC-7 4-engine prop flown from 1956-62 and 40+ years on display in Wash DC Smithsonian.
2) N334AA Boeing 767 reported to crash into WTC-1 but BTS has no take off records for FL11 or FL77.
ps~ How wierd would this be if this were kind of like a Scooby Doo clue left on purpose for discovery ?
