I just don't see a start-up with few genuine aviation veterans making headway in a highly regulated industry with an aircraft that has a transsonic wake issue.
I don't think this is a good investment, but it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. Supersonic aviation didn't work back in the day so why would it work now?
As @AkhalTeke says, it's repeating history. A whole bunch of airlines including Air Canada here in this country signed intent to purchase agreements for Concorde in the 1960s and we all know how that worked out.
Theres a bunch of airlines that "agree" to purchase these new ideas. Right now theres a lot of EV airplane companies in Europe where a bunch of short haulers have agreed to buy if the EV companies ever get it figured out. This kind of stuff has been going on for a while
