EDACS AEP in ohio I programed the control channel in but it wont trunk the freqs.

Do u program it like mot. trunked accept u switch it to edacs ?? i need some help with this.
I programed it like u program mot. and mot works but edacs doesnt even though i switched to edacs trunk system.
I recieve AEP control channel and the freqs just fine am i doing something wrong ??

Hi Shawn, do you have the frequencies in the correct order. They need to be in "Logical Chennel Order". If you are getting the info from the database it should be in that order. If you start receiving transmissions but they are only partical then the LNC order is wrong.

Also start putting the first freq in the *01 channel. Do not use the *00 channel.

what if they talk on others not listed here does that matter ??

You need to put each site into its own (bank) (system on BC246T). If you are interested in trunktracking traffic on multiple sites, then you must use up multiple (banks)(systems).

No. Each frequency goes into its own channel in the radio. LCN 01 goes in channel *01 in the radio, LCN 02 goes in to channel *.02 in the same bank, etc...

Yes im asking if their in that order. What is funny though is i dont hear traffic from AEP on those freqs I hear them on diff ones. Any Help ??

If you don't hear any traffic on the Lancaster site, try another site that may be close. Perhaps the Columbus site will work.
