Does anybody know which antennas AEP is using on their repeaters? I have family members that live near 1F5 Site 42, and yesterday I noticed 2 teal-colored fiberglass-looking vertical antennas on that tower that look fairly new, just curious if those were the AEP antennas.

I don't have any idea. I haven't seen any AEP site up close to know what antennas they are using.

I would say those would be the ones. In Columbus on our city MOTO system the antenna look to be a teal colour as well.

I just heard a guy doing a residential disconnect on TG 1003. He called in with a meter or ticket number, dispatch checked and said "no payment on the acct. You're good to disconnect." It sounds like some type of service TG, versus a Trouble TG.

That would be the Field Service Tech talkgroup. Usually they call in as Field Service.

I haven't heard a "Field Service", but possibly a "Field Comm".

I heard several disconnects for non-payment, and discussions between the tech and dispatch about previous monthly meter usage, as if trying to determine if there was an electrical issue on-site causing the meter to run/over usage.

Some new sites on line now in southwest Oklahoma 1F9 SID.

Today the Lawton, OK site (043-043) is showing 4 new neighbors:
009-009 854.7125 (Probably WQBN220 Fort Cobb)
037-037 855.3125 (WPCB231 Comanche)
041-041 855.2625 (WPCB223 Frederick)
045-045 857.9125 (probably WPCB235 Chickasha)

Lawton's other neighbor 029-029 has been there a while.
CC is always 854.7625. It's probably Rush Springs but either it's not on the air or I can never receive it for some reason.

Site 037-037 is showing:
NAC 025
855.3125 Pri
855.5125 Alt
856.4125 Alt
Neighbors:
017-017 854.7875 (Probably WQBN220 Fort Cobb)
029-029 854.7625 Rush Springs
041-041 855.2625 Frederick
043-043 857.8375 Lawton

Site 041-041 855.2625 is showing:
NAC 029
855.2625 Pri
855.7625 Alt
857.8875 Alt
Neighbors:
037-037 855.3125 Comanche
043-043 857.8375 Lawton

The Frederick and Comanche EDACS CCs appear to be gone. They used to be 857.8875 and 856.4125 most of the time.

Mike do you want me to submit those or will you take care of it?

We would always prefer that the finders make the submissions themselves. But, I'll always add verified data even if the finder does not make a submission. I've already submitted this data (under my name, attribution to you), but feel free to make a submission under your name if you like.

Thanks!

Next time I'll submit the info myself in addition to posting it here.

Thank you, Tom. That is preferred. I don't "push it" myself, since I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. But if one is willing, it's best to submit. Appreciate your efforts!

856.4125 Alt

I'm not sure what to make of Site 9.9 and Site 17.17. I agree they both could be Fort Cobb, but they obviously can't both be Fort Cobb. Just to make sure that the 9.9 or 17.17 aren't a neighboring TX site, can you check and verify that 9.9 and 17.17 show up as 1F9 sites in the neighbor lists?

If both 9.9 and 17.17 are in Oklahoma, then:

09.09 854.7125
* peer of 43.43 Lawton
- Fort Cobb (Caddo) - could be
- Vinita (Craig) - no way, too far away
- Seminole (Seminole) - already in the DB as 26.26 Calvin

17.17 854.7875
* peer of 37.37 Comanche
- Atoka (Atoka) - WPSE989 - could be
- Fort Cobb (Caddo) - WQBN220 - could be
- Grove (Delaware) - WPCB219 - no way, too far away
- Talihina (Latimer) - WPSJ897 - could be, but likely too far away
- Spavinaw (Mayes) - WPSE994 - no way, too far away
- Tulsa (Tulsa) - WRDK990 - no way, too far away

Some more sites really need to be confirmed before we can know for sure about 9.9 and 17.17

I can't receive Lawton strong enough to decode right now. (has to be tropo for that). I think all the neighbors were 1F9 but will have to verify that later.

Here is Comanche:

Here are all the channels I have logged:

On the EDACS system Comanche (22) had a neighbor of 28 which I never figured out because the closest known 28 is Okalunion, TX which is 75 miles away and there are several closer sites in OK.
