New site showing up. Looks like either Jay or Cloud Creek OK.

View attachment 102640

New location (Cloud Creek) added to license 3/2020 - ULS Application - Other Indust/Land Transp. 806-821/851-866 MHz, Trunked - 0009015820 - American Electric Power Service Corporation - Locations Summary
FCC construction notification for Cloud Creek site filed 4/2021 - ULS Application - 0009485758 - American Electric Power Service Corporation

Given the close proximity of the two, and the frequencies being nearly the same for both sites, it's a good bet that Cloud Creek was set up to replace the old Jay site.

So I have added this to the DB as Cloud Creek.

Thanks!

I'm finally starting to hear some voice traffic on the Gilbert WV site. The busiest TG is 4214, it sounds like a patch to the edacs system. Sounds like DDC Dispatch traffic. I'll submit once I've confirmed it.

New (?) site in Texas.
1F8 104-104
NAC 068
854.2125 C
854.9125 A
857.2875 A
no neighbors

Probably FCC Callsign WRKB223 (AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER SERVICE CORPORATION) but I need to check further.

Looks like a logical conclusion to me. Could you submit it? If you do, I'll make sure it is added to the DB. If for some insane reason it isn't correct, it can be corrected later. But indeed those three freqs are only on the WRKB223 Woodson license.

Oklahoma Update:

36.36 Talihina confirmed online and added to DB
19.19 was named Talihina but renamed to Buffalo Mountain so as not to conflict with 36.36

In the wiki , sites 21 (Clayton OK) and 25 (Idabel) were added. They are likely online but not confirmed yet.

FCC notifications were submitted by AEP for the following sites, suggesting they are ready to go.

woodson (throckmorton) - already confirmed online and in DB
tradewinds (san patricio) - already confirmed online and in DB

Refugio TX (Refugio) WPCB258 - not in DB -- probably should be on the lookout for it coming online
- likely 43.43 (in which 43.43 was reported as a neighbor of another TX site with a CC (at the time) of 854.9375
- so it is extremely likely that it is online, but the active CC may or may not be 854.9375

854.9375
855.1375
855.4375
855.8875
856.3875
857.4125
858.8625

If you're around the Refugio TX area, please attempt to confirm by using Pro96Com, DSDPlus or Unitrunker and checking to see if you find a site 43.43 on one of the freqs above. If you do, please gather/submit all details - (primary/alt ccs, nac, sysid, site ID, active frequencies seen, neighbors/peers and the frequencies associated with those neighbors/peers.

Thanks

Mike

Rule, Haskell County
WRKC328
NAC 041
Neighbors 025-025, 097-097, 104-104 (Woodson)
854.1125 A
854.4125 A
854.6625 C

It has 2 neighbors that aren't in the DB
025-025
854.8125 C

097-097
856.4125 C

I can hear something on each of those but too weak to decode right now and they don't sound like Harris P25 CC.
The one on 854.8125 sounds like simulcast. I don't think it's AEP and not sure what direction it's coming from.

1F8 25-25 854.8125 is probably the new site near Aspermont.
It's location #3 on this license FCC Callsign WPCB218 (American Electric Power Service Corporation).

Location #1 is on top of Double Mountain. AEP probably lost access to that site and probably why they built two new sites next to it.

The Double Mountain location was a pole (25-30 feet) licensed in 1994 according to ASR. New site looks like 300 ft lattice tower - although AMSL is still quite a bit lower than the Double Mtn location. Sounds like you are right on the money as far as why Rotan / new Aspermont site were created.
