amplified speaker for TRX1

If anybody finds a speaker to amplify the sound of TRX1 please let us know. I have tried 2 different amplified speakers that work great with Pro 106 but will not work for the TRX1. Also does anyone know if the TRX2 has the same setup as the TRX1 concerning the speaker and using amplified speakers. I can not hear the TRX1 in my truck at all. This problem was solved with other scanners by using a amplified speaker, but with the TRX1 its a no go. Thanks

I am using the Uniden BC23A with my TRX-1 in the car. It works fine..

The TRX-1 sounds AMAZING when jacked into the 3.5mm AUX input of most car stereo systems...sounds like a top of the line Motorola! :-D

I use a BTI-010 Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver paired with the bluetooth P2 Soundpeats Speaker or bluetooth headset. The drawback is the BTI 010 can't be used during charging. The speaker could be used stand alone with the included cable. Hint on the speaker: Charge the speaker and unplug it. The charging circuit does not hold up to continuous charging.

I have an older vehicle that came with a cassette player
in the head unit and a remote CD player.

I tapped into the line-out of the CD player and soldered
in a wire with a 3.5mm 90° plug.

... not the most elegant solution I guess but it sounds great.
