VHF DMR Full Time Encrypted on all 3 freqs, and all TGs/Slots, as well as the in the clear simulcast on the Hinds TRS, and also have an TG on the MSWIN once the Hinds conversion/migration is completed.

Gulfport used to be on 155.400 back around '05, my dad used to be the maintenance supervisor for the ambulances. That was the last time I heard them since I moved to Tennessee.

Jackson was analog on 155.4000 also until 2 months ago when they turned on the new DMR system. Now they can only be heard on the Hinds TRS MEDCOM on MSWIN or the 155.3400 and 463.1750. And most of MEDCOM is strapped for full time E.

So they must have built out a statewide network I guess. I see they are in Nashville now too, but just as a transport company. Back in the late 90s, they wanted my dad to go to Cuba to do a startup there. Not sure how that went since he didn't go.

No they only have DMR so far in Jackson and Simpson county. The Natchez/Fayette VHF is still analog as is the Rural Metro VHF. They own RM now.

The Metro service based in Natchez/Ferriday is still independent of AMR. They are fierce competitors in every sense of the word. Trust me on that one!
That one is based in Woodville. Serves Adams, Franklin, parts of Jefferson, Amite, all of Wilkinson counties as well as the Ferriday base serving Concordia parish.

My only point was it's an independently run LLC, has nothing to do with AMR. They also only take emergency calls, by rotation, in Adams Co. and Concordia Parish. They have a huge portion of the contract transports in those areas you listed. AMR is designated emergency provider in Jefferson, Wilkinson & Amite, Franklin Co. has their own service for EMS.
