AMR unit #'s

Noticed that boec is using 4 digit unit #'s for the medic units. Are they changing the unit #'s ? Is this the 1 paramedic 1 EMT Staffed ambulance?

I believe the 4 digit are the 1 & 1.
In the few minutes I've been listening I've heard 3 AMR versions
Medic 3## = ALS (2) EMT-P
Medic 1### = ALS (1) EMT-P & (1) EMT-B
Bravo### = BLS EMT-B
*I don't know if BLS are 1 or 2 person crews.
*-P = Paramedic -B = EMT Basic

400's are basic, 100s are Washington County, 200s are Clackamas County, 300s are Multnomah County

Washington County EMS

Tuesday Aug 1 is the day when MetroWest is replaced by AMR as the Ambulance Service for Washington County. I don't have any info regarding TGs or freqs as of yet. It sounded like AMR was suppose to be more automated regarding dispatching so I would assume WC will set up an EMS Dispatch TG like...

Medic 1### = ALS (1) EMT-P & (1) EMT-B

I believe it's Medic 13## for these units. The only other 4-digit medic units in the metro area are the Medic 16## from Clark County/Vancouver.

*I don't know if BLS are 1 or 2 person crews.

BLS are 2-person crews.
