I wish someone would put Amsterdam Fire dept on live audio for montgomery county.

I hope whoever does it for you has a much cleaner feed than I get here in Schoharie County.
When I hear Mont. Co fire the audio is horrible with what I can best describe as a loud "humming" noise. I have tried each of my 25+ scanners and they are all the same. Perhaps it is my location and some local interference, but I really doubt it. I finally "locked out" the frequency and have learned to live without it. 159.285 is the freq that I am talking about. Just brutal. I do hope someone comes through for you...and its loud N clear! Happy New Year.

Your right chaser915, I hear columbia county on the 159.285 freq. real noisey. Montgomery co should get a frequency cordinator and get all there eggs in one basket. All they have to do is put a pl tone on the repeater. (simple) fix. wait till the narrow band goes into play. There will be alot of scanners in the landfill.LOL.
