I was searching the FCC for some more rail frequencies and came across this one.
FCC says the system is used for the car crane,Heard a voice conversation about a leak.
Does anyone have the correct order for this system?

AMTRAK R1 452.362500
AMTRAK 452.212500
AMTRAK 452.287500
AMTRAK R? 452.387500
AMTRAK R5 452.437500

Sorry didnt know If I should post this in NY or the rail section

How much activity are you hearing on this system? Are all of the communications related to Amtrak, or are there other businesses on this radio system? Apparently, if Amtrak is the license holder for this radio system, they must have let their license lapse, as it's no where in the FCC Database anymore.

only heard one transmission ("merry christmas have a great holiday")so far other than the original one,Discovered that it was LTR by accident trying to find a pl#, when in ltr mode and while they were still talking the talk group came up but i never wrote it down nor did I hit trunk.

only one 452.3625 comes over as R1 but the others Im haveing trouble as they keep changeing.

If they are really LTR, the repeater IDs won't change. Without digging around too much on my own website, I think most of those channels are part of various commercial trunked systems in the capital area.

I went to the train station yesterday with my PRO-97 and checked the above listed five frequencies.

452.3625 R01 - part of Wendy Helm trunked system on Crawford Hill.
452.3875 R07 - part of NYCOMCO trunked system, probably in Columbia County.

No traffic or LTR bursts on any other frequency.

If any of these channels are in use at Rensselaer, they are probably simplex with portables only and don't get used much unless certain types of work are being done in the shops.

BTW, this double licensing of frequencies at very close geographical spacing is common in the Albany area. Generally only one licensee is actually using the frequency and the other license is wasted.

I did find these on your site in the trunking ,LTR section thank you.
I was'nt sure what actually leaked as it was a brief transmission, could have been a tow truck or waste truck perhaps a train box car ?

I noticed that when I look at Albany Medical Center on the FCC then compared it to your site. For the LTR system they use.
Thank you once again.
