Amtrak Train Derails With Injuries In Missouri

Amtrak has confirmed that several cars derailed on Southwest Chief Train 4, traveling eastbound on BNSF track from Los Angeles to Chicago after striking a dump truck at a public crossing in Mendon, Missouri, at 1:42 pm. There were approximately 243 passengers and 12 crew members on board with early reports of injuries. Anyone in the area hearing comms?

I hope someone chimes in with scanner reports. I’ve been on that train, from Flagstaff to Chicago. Reports state it was traveling at 90 MPH when it impacted the dump truck, causing the entire train to derail and lay on it’s side. Truly a horrific event.
