Derailments can be fun when nobody gets hurt, when the CN crew was rescued the engineer reportedly said "Wow, what a ride!" Then there is the JFJ airport shuttle fully automated, sometimes riders wish they had a crew aboard. Another time it went right through the airport and finally stopped in the yard where the doors opened, thankfully nobody got off being a yard full of third rail isn't the safest place to wander around in.
